There is a standard charge of £10 and a daily charge. The standard charge remains the same regardless of how many pets are booked in.

Discounts

Discounts are available for pets living in the same accommodation (half price for every extra animal after the most expensive at full price).

Discounts may also be available for numerous pets (more than 3 animals) in separate accommodations or for long term boarding (over 3 weeks). Please enquire for details.

Reptiles and Outdoor Animals

We regret that we cannot provide accommodation for reptiles or outdoor aviary birds. Outdoor animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets can stay in one of our large hutches in the garden, or if you prefer you can bring their own with you. Runs are available for giving the animals time on the lawn each day. House rabbits and guinea pigs will be housed in our home, where they will be given plenty of time running around indoors and can also spend some and can also spend some supervised time in our secure garden each day (weather permitting). A cage or indoor hutch must be provided for rabbits and guinea pigs who wish to be housed indoors.

Additional Charges

Additional charges will only apply if you do not wish to supply the food for your pet or if you do not provide enough food, specialist bedding, medication or other specialist items, to last for the duration of your pet's stay. If extras of any of these items have to be purchased by me then the costs will be added to your bill.

As well as the boarding, the price includes wood shavings, hay and disinfectant, which will all be provided for free, as will fresh fruit and vegetables if required. All care, cleaning, grooming, play and administration of medication are also included in the price but the pet owner must provide all of the equipment needed (including toys, grooming equipment, exercise ball, enough medication for entire stay, etc). To avoid unnecessary stress to the animal, their cage or hutch must be brought with them with all of its usual contents (indoor pets only). Outdoor rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets can stay in one of our large hutches in the garden at no extra charge but contents such as water bottle, food bowls, etc must be provided by you. If required and weather permitting, your pet can spend time in a run in the garden (the run is provided at no extra cost).

Pet owners must also supply all of the food and treats and any specialist bedding (such as Carefresh or Aspen shavings, and any paper bedding or nesting materials) that the animal is used to in order to avoid upset stomachs, allergies and stress from change. Enough should be provided for the entire stay or the costs will be added to the bill.

A free picture message will also be sent to you during your animal’s stay so that you know that he/she is ok and happy (if you are in Europe and your mobile phone is capable of receiving them).
